Agel Jump Start Training

As a new Agel Team Member getting your business started the right way is CRITICAL.
WhyAgel has created this Jump Start Program to help you get organized and give you a step-by-step business plan for starting your new Global Agel Business.
The Jump Start Program focuses on three activities:
- Get Organized
- Get Going
- Get Educated
Now, you may ask, "why do you Get Going before you Get Educated?". Exellent question, glad you asked.
The very beginning of your business gives you a once in an "Agel lifetime" opportunity to honestly say "I really don't know", "I really can't answer your question", and "I can't explain it very well".
"Why is that so great?" you ask. Another excellent question - you're on a roll.
The answer is THIRD PARTY CREDIBILITY!
You will first begin talking with your "circle of influence". These are family, friends, business associates and generally anyone who knows you well - or maybe a little TOO well!
You will have varying levels of credibility with the people in your inner circle. Also how are they going to believe that you really know what you are talking about if you just barely joined?
So instead of spending a week or two reading, listening, and watching hours of information about Agel, the health & wellness industry, the network marketing distribution model, and on and on and on, YOU ARE GOING TO GET TO WORK RIGHT AWAY.
Let's build on the excitement you already have after seeing the amazing Agel opportunity for yourself. Let's start talking to people about Agel!
But don't worry, you don't have to stumble and stutter through some memorized "mini-presentation", this Jump Start Program will show you how to approach your inner circle, what to say and how to leverage third party credibility.
But first let's Get Organized:
Get Organized
First, let's get your business started and organized.
New Team Member Check List
- ___ Agel Sign-Up. My Agel # Is: _________
- ___ Activation Order Placed (Executive Kit)
- ___ Autoship Set Up (4 Boxes)
- ___ Choosing Success Magazine (borrow/buy at least 10 from your sponsor)
- ___ Product (borrow/buy at least 1 box from your sponsor)
Ok, you or your sponsor got you signed into the Agel system, you have an Agel ID # and a password to get into the Agel Back Office. You have placed your Business Activation Order (Executive Kit, right? if not you have plans to upgrade ASAP, right?). You set up your Auto-ship order and are ready to roll.
There are a few more things you need to do to get your business organized and get yourself ready to start introducing Agel to people.
The three best ways for you to begin introducing people to the Agel products and business are:
- Call or email and invite to a web site.
- Call or email and invite to listed to a "sizzle call".
- Drop off a Choosing Success magazine.
New Team Member Marketing Tools
To do this you will need some things:
- A website.
You can either use an informational website like WhyAgel.com or purchase your own personalized web site. If you use an informational site you will need to be sure to follow up with the people you refer to the site. If they fill out an info request form on the site it will go to someone other than you.

- Some Choosing Success magazines and some Agel products.
If you are going to pass out some Choosing Success magazines you will need some magazines and some Agel product. Your Executive Kit comes with 10 Choosing Success magazines, but it may be a few days before your Executive Kit arrives. So buy or borrow some magazines from your sponsor or another Agel Team Member in your area. Also buy/borrow a box of product to pass out along with the magazines.
Get Going
Now that you have your business organized and have some marketing tools to work with, let's Get Going!
Create Your List
1. Begin by making a list of 40 or more people in your "warm market". Your warm market is anyone who would recognize your name. Scour your rolodex, black-book, family contact numbers, friends list, email address book, online group, Christmas card list...
TIP: Go through your Yellow Pages phone book and think of anyone you have purchased a product or service from as you turn the pages and see the different businesses and services.
2. Go through your list and put a star or mark by the name of each person whom you consider to be part of your "inner circle" or close group of family, friends and acquaintances. These are people you probably want to call on the phone. Others you can send an email to or phone after you contact your inner circle.

3. Over the phone (or email if you are more comfortable), invite each person in your inner circle to listen to the sizzle call or visit your web site:

Part of the 72 hour Jump Start Program is to call your inner circle of family, friends, and business associates. Remember don't pre-judge them. Give everyone a chance to hear the information and LET THEM DECIDE.
My basic script when calling prospects is... "Do you have a pen or pencil? Great, write this number down... 620-294-1909. Got it? Alright, do me a favor... call that number, listen to the message and then call me back in 10 minutes, can you do that?" If they say yes, tell them thanks and end the call. If they say they can't do it right now, ask them when they can and tell them you'll call them back at whatever time they give.
You can also set an appointment time and 3-way them into the call.
When I talk to them the second time, I either try to get a magpak and product sample into their hands.
Then, I get them on a 3-way call with some other Agel Team Member and help them get signed up! It's as easy as that!
You can also invite them to your PBR (Private Business Review), a 1 on 1, or your ABB (local Agel Business Briefing). Sponsoring is a process.
Email and/or Phone Call Blast
4. Now, go back to your list and start contacting each person without a star by their name. Send an email with the sizzle call phone number or your web site address or call them on the phone (or Skype) and invite them to listen to the sizzle call or visit your web site.

That's it, no long-winded explanation or hype that scares Joe away. Just say enough to create some interest and get Joe to look and/or listen with an open mind.
Choosing Success Magazines
5. Start passing out your Choosing Success magazines to family and friends who live nearby. You can even mail some to distant relatives (or relatives who are distant - "distant" is "relative").
It's really not fair! A company as young as Agel should not have a marketing tool this good. Several other companies have magazine tools, but none are as hip, up-to-date, and informative as Agel's Choosing Success magazine. Plus Choosing Success also includes an hour long CD titled "Secrets of the Multi-Million Dollar Producers" featuring an informal conversation between Randy Schroeder, Eric Worre, and Randy Gage. The CD alone is worth more than $2.

Tips For Talking About Agel
1. SHUT UP! - Face it, you are just starting, you don't know all there is to know about Agel and your family and friends aren't going to believe you have all the answers anyway. (If you could figure it out so quickly there must not be much to it!) So quit talking and let the third party experts do the talking for you.
Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be. Give them a Choosing Success magazine and say "I really don't know, but I bet the answer is somewhere in here." Or get on a three-way call with your sponsor or upline and say "This gal really knows her stuff, listen to her". Or point them to an informational web site like WhyAgel.com and say "Beats me, but I find all my answers on WhyAgel.com."
Or better yet tell them to email the WhyAgel.com team leaders at
and ask their questions directly. They may even see their question get posted in the News and/or FAQ sections on the web site!
(Yes, that's the only tip for talking about Agel - if you follow it you won't need any other tips!)
Get Educated

PLUG IN There are many team newsletters and email lists that you can join. Ask your sponsor which ones they are on and get on the same lists.

Visit WhyAgel.com regularly. The Agel Insider section on the home page will give you the latest news, updates, questions and answers for all things Agel.
And start learning about the amazing company you have joined.
- Read the information in your start-up kit.
- Read the Choosing Success magazine (again, if you already have).
- Wander through the Dig Deeper section of the WhyAgel.com web site.
- ATTEND ALL LOCAL MEETINGS (see Agel Events), ABBs, Super Saturdays, and Regional Events.
- Use the products and start developing your 30 second testimonial (name, from, former/current occupation, problem, Agel solution - Your Agel Testimonial).
