LIBERTY GalaÈ›i announces that it has started to make steel deliveries for the bridge under construction in Brăila, the most important infrastucture project currently underway in Romania. Ì첩ÌåÓý¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ steel company will supply Fincantieri Infrastructure with the heavy plates which will be used to build the segments of the bridge deck, an operation taking place at Vard Shipyard in Braila.

Ì첩ÌåÓý¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ bridge across Danube in Braila county will be 1,974 meters long and will be built in association by Astaldi and IHI Infrastructure Systems companies. Ì첩ÌåÓý¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ project value is estimated to be 500 million Euros.

Ì첩ÌåÓý¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ heavy plate produced in GalaÈ›i was also used for the construction of Osman Gazi bidge, inaugurated in 2016, which crosses the Izmit Bay. At more than 2,600 metres long it is considered the sixth longest in the world in terms of the span between its pillars.
